Meet the Team
-
Bryan Gibb
Company Director
Bryan was born and raised in Rhode Island and has lived in Providence since 2009. He co-founded Bolt back at the beginning and has been involved in every step along the way. He has a deep passion for hospitality and getting to know people— this interest fuels the way he operates the company. He’s a father of two wonderful children, a husband to Rachel, and spends much of his free time with family. He enjoys walking in the woods and foraging for things like mushrooms, listening to audiobooks, and playing with his kids!

Alicia Good
Account Manager
Alicia comes from Dallas, Texas and has fallen in love with the Rhode Island food and culture (and the weather!). She is in charge of handling current and new accounts that purchase wholesale beans from our roastery, and enjoys connecting with new people in the NE area. Aside from selling beans and talking coffee, she loves to go on walks around the local parks and play on her switch. She enjoys spending her time with her partner, Mathieu, and their snake, Tofu, on her days off and is always looking for live music to groove to when she can.
-
Ana Alejandre-Lara
Director of Operations & Development
Ana is Seattle born, Des Moines raised, and Providence living. At Bolt she does a bit of everything- some projects here, some management there, poor latte art in her own mugs only. If you have a question about anything, she’ll have the answer or know where you can find it. When she isn’t working to live, she’s living to play ultimate; buy books she won’t read for years; tattoo friends, family, & unexpected victims; and hike with the most handsome dog on Earth—her son, Remy. On any given day, you can find her putting all her joints at risk on a field or court, or melting into the couch—a true coin toss!

Kimberly Ascencio
Production Manager
An Angeleno living in PVD for 12 years and counting! Head of production at Bolt—if you've unwrapped something awesome, it probably came packed with love from Kim. A lifelong service industry pro, she’s grateful for the friendships made along the way. Kim loves walks with Tito (her four-legged sidekick) and wishes her cat could tag along too. An amateur interior designer and fan of solo breakfasts or dinners with a book in hand. Kim enjoys going to art or music shows with close friends. She hopes to soon go back to her roots of baking & pastry in her older age.

Michael Dantowitz
Head Roaster
Mike was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts and has been living in Rhode Island since 2017. He has worked in specialty coffee for a decade with passion and drive to push the limits of what coffee can be. Mike has proudly been leading our roasting program since 2021 and loves to share his experience in the industry and to connect with others. He enjoys spending time with his family—Sarah, Sage, and his dog, Penny. Mike also shares a passion for music, playing guitar in Providence based metal act, Burr.
